This product is crafted from Tulip Poplar and comes unfinished and chemical-free. Most of our customers choose to leave the wood unfinished, but we do provide finishing instructions for staining or painting.

I search for a while for a bed frame that would fit in my sunroom and work with my hide a bed mattress. The hide a bed couch was old but mattress is fairly new. This option made it so I could still use my mattress. This is a full size mattress and fits its perfectly. I love that it has 3 different options of being a couch, lounger and a bed. It arrived in 3 boxes; one came 3 days later than the others, but they sent an email letting us know this would happen. Assembly was a chore, and the written instructions are cryptic at best (confession: didn't watch the video). Also some of the barrel nuts had been thrown loosely in the box, separate from the sealed parts bag; we didn't find them till we were breaking down the boxes. However, despite these issues, once assembled, we really like the bed; good quality materials, folding from bed to couch works very well, and the bed is quite comfortable with an 8" mattress.. David.
