We read the reviews for this gazebo and purchased it despite the naysayers. We got a local quote to assemble it for $3,600. No thanks, we Just finished assembling the gazebo itself. It took a total of 20.5 hours over 5 days, including unboxing, parts inventory, staging and assembly. 16 hours with two people and 4.5 hours with 3 people. overall quality and engineering is pretty good. Only a couple of screw holes required modification (wall anchors). Instructions are not great, but usable if you read them several times and take your time. If you want to DIY this gazebo, make sure you have a couple of good step ladders, a decent cordless drill and 2 or 3 6-foot folding tables for laying out parts and to work on. If you try and assemble this kit with the tools provided, it will take you at least twice as long, maybe longer. Plan on working no more than 4 hours a day...it is tedious and tiring. Also, cooler weather and overcast days are better. We are a 65-year-old couple in decent health. If we can do this, anyone can with proper preparation, tools and patience.... Anonymous. Actually really nice. Easy to setup as it says. 1 person can do it. The built-in  fiberglass poles make it very sturdy and well tensioned.  Simple metal stakes are provided. I used one at each corner, but used spiral anchors that I already had to tie down with the included string from two of the eyebolts to help with wind. Havent taken it down so I dont know if its as easy to do that. We have an inflatable spa in ours. The only thing I regret is not buying one with the sidewall panels that attach with Velcro. It has a solid totally  waterproof roof panel, but the screen walls, even though a very fine mesh, of course dont offer much protection from wind or driven rain. I was very pleased with this purchase. First thing I noticed is that all of the hardware (nuts bolts etc.) were painted to match the unit. This was a nice touch as many places just send you shiny silver, or black. This arbor is very well constructed and is a quality piece. It was fairly easy to put together, but you definitely need two people for some of the steps, and at times four people would have been helpful, but we managed with two. All of the pieces fit well together, just remember to not tighten the bolts all of the way until the top section is all together. This will take 2-3 people to assemble (3 people for the roof to make it easier). If you are putting this together yourself you and helper or two should be able to get it done in about 6 hours or so. Once correctly assembled it is very sturdy and is exactly what we were looking for a more permanent structure. This replaces an all cloth (with metal frame) gazebo that we had and it looks like it is going to last quite nicely. The mosquito netting on the top is a bit of a joke. It isn't big enough to fit all around the interior roof. By the time you get half of the net up, the other half starts coming off the Velcro. Maybe it will stretch out over time? PRO's: - Very Sturdy once all assembled and mounted down. - Shipped with a lot of foam padding and hard wood ends to protect the roofing from damage. - Minor bends from shipping that could be bent back with pilers. - Cloth curtains and inner bug netting does fit all around (if installed correctly) to fully enclose the gazebo. - Cloth curtains also appear to be made of good quality fabric. - Says it will hold up to 3,000 lbs of snow, and wind gusts up to 55 mph. Where I live it will test this! CON's: - 1 of the 3 boxes is EXTREMELY HEAVY. The Gazebo itself was Lools OK but my husband had to fix 3 of the rails ( bent inward could not attach the bottom rail.) some of the screw holes did not line up with the rail. Attractive and so-far sturdy. Only issue I have is with the assembly instructions specifically regarding the curtains and bug screens. They guide us not clear regarding proper placement of them. This Heavy duty Gazebo Replacement Canopy is made of a parachute type material. Seems to be a durable material. The zippered window covers roll up and stay up with velcro. The door zippers roll up easily, and also has a velcro attachments. The problem was installing it. The pitch of the roof, for our frame was to high, which caused the sides to be to high to install properly. We suggest 4 people to install, as the wind was causing the cover to blow up into the air.
