The directions are pictures only, so must pay close attention. I love my little media stand. Perfect for my small space. It did take me about 3 hours to assemble. Lots of screws so a small battery operated screwdriver or a ratchet type screwdriver is highly suggested. We just put this together and really like it! The assembly did take awhile for my husband to do, but he didn't run into any issues. I do wish some of the spaces had holes drilled into the back for wires for speakers and the like, but we can always do that ourselves. The opening of the clear door is a little bit awkward with no handle- but we pull on the metal part sticking out and that works just fine (and we can add a knob/handle if we really want to). A very functional record stand/storage unit. It included good directions and was easy to assemble. A drill driver or electric screwdriver is a must. With these it took just over 4 hours to assemble the unit. I did put wood glue in the grooves that the back pieces slip into, to give it more stability. This table is exactly what I was looking for when it came to style and dimensions. It was very heavy, so ask for help. Nothing came damaged and the instructions were very easy to follow. The only issue I experienced was one of the pre-drilled holes being off-centered, but I just made a new hole with a pointed screw I already had. Other than that, the product is pretty accurate to the photos with the exception of the color of the sliding doors. Nice simple piece. The color name, Paprika, is a little misleading. It isnt that red, which I like. This was an overall very easy build. It did have quite a few screws but it was definitely very manageable. It did come in slightly damaged, but with a marker im sure it won't be noticeable. I've tried every trick I know to get the hinges on the top cover to work and I just don't see it happening. It seems to be a poor design. The hinges work fine with one or both disconnected, but bind and fight each other with both attached. I am at a loss; the top cover will remain up with the hinges attached or down with them detached. Additionally, the three-tiered shelf on the left side is a quarter inch short on width to hold a record. Why? It is a record player stand, why wouldn't the shelf fit a record? How could a 0.25" gap not be gained somewhere? Do not get this unit. I would return it if it wasn't such a pain. To return something like this, it has to disassemble and boxed it back up.
