Good quality but difficult threading the cover to the pole. Top of the pole has a small slit in which you need to push the fabric in while pushing a plastic cord through the sides line. Our shade was 12 foot long and plastic cord broke halfway through the spline should be more pointed on the end and more flexible for threading. These are great. Purchased 4 to install around pool enclosure for privacy and to block sun in evening. Easy to install with right tools. Not too heavy, relatively sturdy construction. Came with stainless steel washers, but lag screws were only zinc coated, so I purchased stainless steel 5/16 bolts instead that will not rust. I cut to fit gray rubber cover base (see photos) from HD to fit under base plates for added stability, to prevent contact from water and chlorine, prevent water from intruding into anchor holes, and for leveling posts.
