I actually reviewed the right version of this grab bar. I had accidentally bought two left versions, but needed one of each. To me, these are a very elegant way to provide safety and at the same time provide a toilet roll holder. As I mentioned in my other review, the standoff pieces should be 14”-12” longer to accommodate the largest rolls out for sale-the mega roll plus. Instead this can only accommodate the regular mega roll or the single roll. But I wanted this sweeping grab bartoilet paper holder for the main bedroom bath and for the powder room for guests, so I will purchase the smaller roll for these rooms.
Again make sure the extended handle across from the toilet paper holder is closest to you when sitting on the toilet. When in the correct position, this will tell you if it belongs on the left (as in this photo) or on the right (also available for purchase). I do recommend this as I recommend making sure people are safe in getting up from the toilet.
