Whether you want to highlight the picturesque setting of your mountain retreat or bring the peacefulness of the north woods into your home décor, nothing says “rustic” like the natural beauty of Fireside Lodge cedar log furniture. With each piece of furniture handcrafted from responsibly-sourced northern white cedar, it is our most complete product line with pieces across room groups.

This is an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture. However, the chest came with damage to the hinge. My husband had to go out and buy new screws (because the original ones were too short) and bend the hinge back in shape before inserting the screws. Wayfair gave me a 20% discount because of the damage, which I consider good customer service. But there was another issue which I did not report to Wayfair because I was not aware of the issue at the time. The lid will not open all the way. The hinge is strong and the lid will stay open-but only about 3/4 of the way. I was able to get my stuff in the chest, but I have to bend down to the floor to get stuff out, but I have to pull it out at an angle instead of straight up. Again, my husband is going to try and adjust the hinges so that I can open it more. That said, the chest is gorgeous, but because of the hinge/lid issue-it is not worth the full asking price.. I loooove this coffee table! I will break down the pros and cons. There are fewer cons so I will start with the cons. The cons are that the coffee table came two days early which meant I couldn’t prepare to be home to receive it. Also the table was broken because the company that delivered it (not Wayfair delivery service) delivered it upright on its side. I was so disappointed. Also, the dimensions are off. The height on the website says 24” when it’s actually a little over 17.5” (which I prefer so not really a con). The pros are I called Wayfair and had the most friendly and reassuring customer representative who helped me get a replacement. I purchased the 3 year warranty but didn’t have to use it. I received the replacement within 3 days! The coffee table is 100 solid wood and the grain is beautiful. The 3 table sections open smoothly and stay open until you close it. The table also has an amazing amount of storage which I have filled with tons of books. This is truly a find and for the price it’s worth every penny. I also bought the sofa (in the picture) from Wayfair. I am a loyal customer. Thanks Wayfair!. Bobbette. Houston, TX. Fri Feb 05 2021
