But the leather straps that hang down need reinforcement since its natural to grab those to lift the lid - they rip. and the side handle adds just enough width that the overall width didn't allow it to fit in the space that measured perfectly for it in our house. we are using it elsewhere and have modified the straps to make it work.. Just add feet! The legs are color coded with stickers because it matters where they go due to the angles. Some of the stickers fell off, so it was a little hit and miss, but there's only for, so odds aren't too bad. Solid piece of furniture. This trunk is the perfect storage solution. It's decorated with black leather, arranged in a quilted pattern. There are two brown leather straps running across the front to enhance its beauty. A handle at each side assures easy lifting.

Arrived intact as box inside a box. It appears as pictured. Knocking one star as there were several hanging threads to trim and the trunk doesn't sit perfectly flat, but both easily fixed. I have difficulty envisioning printed dimensions so think of this as a couple of sneaker boxes stacked together with the top one domed. I recieved my cedar chest and took one look at the box and was afraid to open. But all i saw was a dent on the top of the front. With that i went ahead and put together. No big problems. Just follow directions. It had to have been wrapped for shipment very well to have just sustained only that damage. The whole thing is not made by using 100% solid cedar or price would be much higher. But i wanted to store blankets i crochet and wollen sweaters and things of that. Cedar helps to keep bugs that love wool away. I had a beautiful light blue sweather that wasnt stored in cedar and i regretted because moth got to it and ate hole right in front. So after putting together just rubbed a little original cedarcide inside. I went on and notified wayfair about the picture of torn up box and picture of dent. Was contacted right then. Talk about fast. He asked for email and order number so he could see what the problem was. I didnt want new one just a few parts that were broken in bag and 1 missig. Great person to talk to.
