The finish will vary from piece to piece. The base is made from ceramic with a navy finish and has textured vertical lines complemented by subtle white accents. We love the contrast of the bud-shaped silhouette against the gray linen drum-shaped shade. This table lamp accommodates a single LED-compatible bulb of up to 150W (sold separately) and stands at 32" tall. Keep in mind that the 3-way rotary socket will only work with a 3-way lightbulb; otherwise, this lamp functions with a simple on/off switch at its highest setting.

Nice lamp. Mine arrived significantly more brown-gray than in the picture and with a taupe shade. Lamp has a chalky texture. It is substantial yet light and for an open and higher traffic area, I wanted something that wouldn't topple. This lamp fits the bill as it is quite wide at the base and not prone to tipping if bumped. I've lived with this lamp for 2 weeks now as I decided whether I wanted to keep it and /or purchase a mate for it. After shopping around, I don't feel it's worth it's price.
