I am so used to the traditional box spring but was intrigued when I needed to replace one that these "assemble yourself" type of foundation is all I could find online. Truth be told, I was skeptical but hopeful and now a bit impressed. Assembling with the tools that are included was not the easiest and, as usual the instructions were lacking. I ended up setting the corners incorrectly so I had to redo most of it. The end product seems pretty sturdy and works well with the hybrid mattress. I’m very disappointed with this purchase. The box looks like it should be good quality, but unfortunately it arrived in poor condition. I contacted customer service to report the issue, and while they offered a 20 discount, I asked for a bit more since I really don’t want to go through the hassle of returning it, buying another one, and waiting again for shipping. They asked me to wait 24 hours for a response, so I’m still hoping for a better resolution. This is actually my third recent order with problems, which is very frustrating. I’ve been a Wayfair customer for years and never had this many issues before. Really disappointed with this experience. I received an email from Wayfair saying they are going to credit back to my original payment method, which I appreciate. I already finished building the box spring and, as I mentioned before, it does look like good quality overall. I really hope I won’t have any problems with it later on.
