No damage when shipped. A few pieces were missing their labels so I had to figure out what number peice it was. Wasn't that hard. I put together a lot of things and this took me about 5hrs ALONE. I had zero issues putting it together but I took my time and made sure all the pieces were facing the right way. The directions were easy to follow for the most part but NOT for someone who has little to no experience. So far quality is what I expected. It would be best if the company would figure out a new way to ship the seat so that it doesn’t get pinchedmishapen. The tiny screws were a bear to screw into the wood. Small, predrilled holes would have been a great touch. Overall, the vanity looks nice assembled and my daughter likes it, but certainly some room for improvement with shipping and ease of assembly.. The only reason I am subtracting 2 stars is because of the way this unit was packed and the quality of the black coating. The packaging material appeared to be deteriorating, and every piece was coated in white fiber particles. I had to spend half an hour wiping everything down with a damp rag before assembly. There were several minor imperfections in the coating, especially on the edges of the drawer fronts, and some minor scratches on the drawer bottoms.
