For the holidays, its been situated outside within my Wayfair gazebo on my front porch for a more festive look and extra light, (that is, when the temperature is not too much below freezing). Its very lightweight and easy to carry, Everyone that has seen it loves it! It would work great in a childs room as a nightlight or reading source and conveniently shuts off when the battery is low. Personally, I charge it when I go to bed and its fully charged and ready to go the following morning. You could also charge it during the day to ensure a fully charged battery at night. It was delivered professionally and quickly. There was no assembly needed, only a bit of a charge for many hours of enjoyment on the first night. Pretty fun lamp! I received it last night, charged it all night, and now have it lighting up my living room. It surprised how big it is! It's going to look very nice out on my deck in the summer. It came with very little packaging, just the box. Thank you Wayfair! It's plastic, one of the softer versions, and very lightweight, so watch out for wind. I'm going to use command strips to attach it to something heavy on my deck. That way, when charging is needed, I will be able to pull it off and charge it. Charge port is on the bottom.
