This is just stunning at night! It is made of a very delicate metal, and the dragonfly design is gorgeous. It looks like a jarred lantern, and its empty inside. I dont see a way to open it. Very cool! Got these for my friend’s pool as a gift. Apparently they are the hottest solar accessory for pools these days. First I thought they were too small, but wow, once the light comes on, they cascades at least ten feet, if not more. The light changes color and has multiple light colors at once. Purchased these to supplement broken pool light. These solar lights are decent. Not as bright as I had hoped. They require being attached to a string held down by weights (used rocks) not provided. I suppose they don’t really need to be weighted down but won’t stay in place of choice, obviously. Something else to consider-robot pool vacuum will get caught up in solar lights string. Pretty fun lamp! I received it last night, charged it all night, and now have it lighting up my living room. It surprised how big it is! It's going to look very nice out on my deck in the summer. It came with very little packaging, just the box. Thank you Wayfair! It's plastic, one of the softer versions, and very lightweight, so watch out for wind. I'm going to use command strips to attach it to something heavy on my deck. That way, when charging is needed, I will be able to pull it off and charge it. Charge port is on the bottom. Too bad I can't upload a video of the lamp changing color ways... Had the lamp for a few weeks now. The charge lasts about 18 hours, depending on how bright you keep it.. Laurie. Waterford, PA. theses are cute and my kids love them. perhaps we would like them more if we had a pool to throw them in. they dont hold a charge for as long as they are supposed to, they are cumbersome to store and charge, and way too expensive for what they are. i would buy them again at half the price we paid but not at full price..
