One of my biggest concerns when buying kids’ furniture is quality. So many children’s vanities are made with flimsy plastic or poorly constructed materials that barely survive a few months. Not this one. The vanity is made of quality wood, and you can feel the difference in the weight and finish. The mirror is real (but child-safe) and gives a clear reflection, which made my daughter feel very grown-up. Wow, very impressed!! This is much larger and subsantial than in the photos oline. I purchased it to use as a vanity for my dressing room. I had no idea it was a "teen" product or that the paint was a pearlized cream vs flat cream finish. Anyway all of the drawers are felt lined and open and close like a quality piece of furniture. There was one small grey smudge on the top but overall I'm very happy with this purchase. I would have given five stars if it had been a flat cream finish like I was expecting but I'm keeping it anyway. This is my second furniture purchase with Wafair and I am sure it won't be the last!. This little girls twopiece vanity set is So Much better than I could have imagined. I was surprised when the vanity arrived in one rather small carton - don’t be deceived. The vanity is solid and made to last. The color pink is just as pretty as the photos online show. There is not a blemish or scratch on any of the paint The contrast between the beautiful pink and the natural wood legs coordinate perfectly with the decorative rattan around the mirror. (in my photo, the plastic film is still on the mirror until I carry it upstairs) I am so impressed! The wood legs, on both, the stool and the vanity, don’t just screw in. Look at my photo - they attach with a metal bracket AND four screws. Each leg also has a perfectly sized felt floor protector included. (Thank you manufacturer!). The flower stool is the perfect height to sit at the table and have room to move around. After play, the stool fits all the way under the vanity. Overall, assembly took about 45 minutes (including unpacking and piece count). Every piece lined up and fit perfectly. Every screw tightened securely as well. Note - you will need a screwdriver as one is not included. Now …the INCLUDED accessories … they are CUTE! To be made of solid wood, the detail is fabulous. The chunky bracelet is elasticized. The lipstick is two pieces and has that lipstick slant. I LOVE the nailpolish bottle - the lid comes off and there is a real bristle brush attached just like real nailpolish bottles. There are two compacts and Both have elastic closures, so no pinched fingers! One compact has a removable powder puff. OH MY. The perfume bottle nozzle really works. All of these goodies fit out of site in the wide, deep storage compartment on the front. There is enough room for plenty more pretend items. This compartment has a magnet inside so it does stay closed. What I REALLY like (ALSO) is that those ugly screw heads are Not visible on the front and sides!! I recommend this awesome little set!!!!. I’m still in the middle of building this and keep having to put it away because it’s a surprise for my daughter I’ll definitely post a pic of the whole thing once it’s finished! So far though I’m really impressed. For kids’ furniture, it actually feels sturdy, not flimsy at all. And the pink is SO cute. It really pops without looking cheap or washed out. Heads up: there are a lot of pieces, so definitely give yourself some time to put it together. That said, it’s super easy and straightforward nothing complicated, just a bit time consuming. The size is perfect for a 4–5 year old, but it also feels like something she’ll grow into and use for years, not something she’ll outgrow in a few months. And I love the storage options—so many spots for brushes, play makeup, accessories, all the little things that usually end up everywhere.
