Flank a mirror or a bed with the Leda 4 Light Wall Sconce and the wall gains a piece of botanical sculpture that happens to give light. Each flower head opens into thin glass petals, bent one at a time and set around metal pistils, all of it carried on a wrought iron stem that turns up into a single leaf. Hand-applied leafing gives the metal a depth that a sprayed coat cannot reach, lit or unlit. Four candelabra lights spread a soft wash rather than one hard point.

If we offered a finish, the flowing steel form of the Antasia wall sconce could pass as the molten metal it nearly was during the hand-forging process. There's a beautiful fluidity of form here.

The indoor/outdoor sconce features a three-dimensional contrast of deep textured and polished cast glass. This stunning landscape of glass is illuminated by waterproof LEDs.

It's a beautiful piece, but it should be for such an extravagant price. The brightness is acceptable but it alone could not light a small bathroom. Each piece is unique, so it must be thought of as an art piece rather than a functional piece. I hope the bulbs can be easily changed. Frankly that is the difference between this being a 2 start product and a 4 star product. I'll give it 4 stars for now.. Joseph. New York, NY. Tue Jun 22 2021
