I have been looking for just the right pieces to enhance the area over my mantel and these fit the bill. Installation entails using two screws to apply a plate which the lights fit over. It took around four hours to charge them initially; I can't speak to how well they hold a charge as we didn't really purchase them for extra light. Charging is as easy as charging your phone and they come with two charge cords. They do have dimmers and a remote. I love the idea that these sconces are not hardwired. Well constructed “heavier” sconces. Wall brackets make it easier to remove from the wall for charging. I liked that the glass around the bulb screws into the sconces and not just sits on top (probably so you can hang right side up or upside down). 9 degrees of brightness (if I remember right). The lights are exactly as described. There are 3 set screws to hold it in place at 12,3, and 9. They should have added one at the 6 o'clock position or shifted the 3 and 9 to 4 and 8. when moving the arm, it rocks a little.
