It's a solid piece of furniture. I purchased it as a combo home theatre/audio stand. My only issue was when it came time to attach the top to the base. Either the alignment of *some* of the holes were off, or the metal dowels would not seat properly in the tightening screw. I had to remove some in order for the top to be flush with the base. We love this tv cabinet. It wasn't that hard to put together as some other customers have mentioned. We did find a few places when putting on the top, the dowls would not line up with the holes so we had skip using them. The color of the cabinet is a bit darker than the picture, but I know all pieces are unique in color. There were 4 places we had scratches and 1 chip, but instead of sending it back or requesting new pieces, WF adjusted the price for us and made it right. Overall, this is a cool piece of furniture and looks great in our living room up against our WF washable area rug. Once all put together - I love it. This TV stand is so pretty and it’s wonderful with this storage space. With that said, it took one person about three hours to assemble. The doors were hard to line up, and some of the screw holes had to be drilled and adjustments made. One screw was no good so had to find another one. I just want to let everyone know that this is not a TV stand with sliding doors. Also the instructions are wrong on four of the boards, you have to switch numbers 4 and 5 and then switch numbers 2 and 3. Other than that the TV stand is really pretty it has plenty of room on the inside with shelf.
