These are very sturdy stools and the wood is beautiful. BUT. I bought 2 sets. One set was fairly well matched in color, the other was not. One was very yellow on the top and the other fairly dark. In person, they didn't go at all. I solved this because I didn't want the hassle of returning them by painting the tops. Great stools but be aware of the color variation.
