Easy to construct- only took like 20 minutes. It has nice wood finish- but it scratches easily. I scratched it a bit on the edges while making it because I wasn’t being careful. I like the design of this little book holder but it was tough putting together as the screws are really long and the rods could have been drilled deeper to help when screwing in. They are shorter (more so for infant to 3) and have edged ply space on top for toys without the risk of sliding or rolling off of the top!!
