The cabinet design is wonderful and came together over a few hours with minimal issue, it could be completed quicker with a second person. The only issue is that the cabinet is much darker in person and there are several areas where the paint appears to be dripping and looks unfinished. I like this piece- would have been nice to have a shelf in the cabinet space. It took me hours by myself to put it together with all the parts but the instructions were very easy to follow along to. Very disappointed. Not only did the box come crushed and damaged, but when I opened the box, it looked like it had been a returned item because it was not packed properly. All the pieces were every which way. The cracked part of the broken shelf, actually faced the front. So it would show, which is not something you want on a new piece of furniture. But they wanted to give a 15 discount if I kept it. . Not acceptable. They’re sending an entire new one, but I have the inconvenience of sending the old one back, not even sure how to box it back up!! This looks like the perfect trash bin cabinet and I really was excited to get it! The box arrived in perfect condition. As we pulled out the materials to build it, we could tell they were not very high quality, so we took our time putting it together, trying to be as careful as we could. Unfortunately, one of the wooden pegs, with barely any pressure, broke through the top of the cabinet and made an awful chip that is very noticeable. And the supporting board for the drawer broke in two, I am still not sure how that happened so easily. Unfortunately, this is not worth it. Even completely put together, it sways from side to side unless you prop it next to something sturdier. So disappointed, I wanted to love this. We have had many good purchases through Wayfair, but this is not one of them. I am thankful for the good customer service Wayfair always provides, which makes me more likely to keep shopping here. Great little cabinet, took off a star because it came very damaged and the tilt out trash side doesn’t line up straight and it’s not the sturdiest thing in the world. I did take a partial refund to keep it so it could be because of the damaged pieces. If you’re having the issue where you don’t think your screws are long enough you need to flip the 7 or 8 pieces around. Not bad. It took me 2.5 hours to put together alone. If I had someone else help me it would’ve easily been half the time. The finish has a sheen to it, which is nice. I opted to not use the deodorizer function because I do not have an outlet nearby, so I removed that piece that would’ve held it in place. I replaced the hardware, set marble slabs on top, and so far I like how it came out. It feels sturdy and I think it looks nice overall. Two things: the drawers catch and get stuck a bit when you pull them out and the cabinet doors don’t sit flush to the frame. But for the price, I can deal with it.. Laura. Brooklyn, NY.
