It is extremely well made and heavy. There is no reason to believe that a disabled person should be able to pull it over. I like that it raises and lowers and also adjusts to a tilt to be used without hands for book, phone or tablet. My only concern is the little wooden bar comes off easily and my loved one hides it.. Impressed with the quality of these. Originally, we got them to be used bedside. Our bed is higher up off the floor and these are not tall enough to use comfortably that way. This little table is EXACTLY what I wanted! I have needlework patterns in PDF format, so I wanted a table to fit my laptop for ease of my work. With the lip around the edge, I won't have to worry about my laptop sliding over the edge should I bump it! We all love this robot table. It has already received many lovely compliments. It was originally purchased for a bedroom but is now in the living room to be shared with everyone. It is so dang cute and really useful as it has more space than I thought. It did take me quite some time to put it together, there are a lot of pieces and READ through the directions first.
