It emanates from the box more but does linger on the wood. The stability issue resolved one the legs were tightened appropriately. The table is beautiful and fits the space perfectly. The exact look we were going for. Love it is from reclaimed wood. We will be applying a satin sealer since the wood is not sealed. When wiping the wood down, the colors really popped! WIDE TABLE TOP: The large 70.9 X 35.4 inch table top provides plenty of space for up to 8 people, perfect for parties or as a conference table.

I like the overall look of this table, but there are a couple of issues with the finish. First, knots in the wood were filled in with a putty that has a slight greenish tint, so it doesn’t match the wood very well. Second, the wood itself scratches VERY easily. We bought this table mostly to play games at, and just a couple of times of playing dominoes on it has made multiple scratches in the surface. I feel like they could’ve used a better vanish on at least the table top to protect it. It is also a little small for playing games, but that is not the table’s fault.
