All of our Furniture is crafted using northern white cedar. We harvest our cedar locally from its Minnesota location. We even operate our own cedar saw mill that produces the lumber for our furniture! Northern white cedar is extremely light and quite soft, but boasts excellent decay resistance and strength despite these characteristics. For heavily used surfaces, we also offer an optional Armor or Liquid Glass finish to increase its lifespan! Armor finish provides a medium satin sheen, our premium quality, post-catalyzed, alkyd-amino varnish is formulated to offer superior durability, and UV protection. It helps prevent scratching and denting. Liquid Glass finish provides a high gloss sheen, this upgrade finish is made from a two-part epoxy. Equivalent to 50 coats of polyurethane, the finish is tough, yet flexible and not prone to shattering from impact.

This brown table can make a striking statement when placed next to your upholstered white sofa and neutral-colored pillows, adding a rustic charm to your space. This item ships in 2 cartons. This one-of-a-kind item is made from the stumps and unused trunks of harvested teak trees, from ecologically managed forests. Once the tree is harvested, the remaining stumps must be removed to make space to plant replacement trees. In the past, these pieces would be harvested and then burned to dispose of them. Today we use these tree stumps and trunks to create beautiful, handcrafted pieces for your home. Coloring, cracks, and shapes will vary between items. Suitable for indoor use only. This item ships fully assembled in one piece. Due to the live edges of the piece, each is unique, so no two products will have an identical pattern, shade, or cut. Maximum weight limit is 100 lbs. The hardwood is then kiln-dried to a precise moisture content ideal for crafting quality furniture. Everything is carefully cut and fitted using traditional joinery methods, building a masterpiece that will last for ages. Over time, the natural color will age, testifying to its genuine hardwood production.CHECKING INFORMATION: Log furniture is subject to the natural process of checking as the wood "seasons" and dries. Checking occurs as wood releases moisture across or through the annual growth rings - it does not affect the structural performance or the integrity of the wood.
