The instructions were straightforward and the assembly process was mostly easy. The table feels solid, looks nice, and was a great deal. However, the two metal lifting mechanisms included with my package did not match. Only one of them lined up with the diagram on the instructions, and neither one lined up correctly with the screw holes in the table. Ultimately I used a power drill and simply screwed them in as well as I could (I did not want to deal with a back-and-forth attempt at replacements). Now the top panel does not line up completely perfectly with the corners of the table when closed, but fundamentally it works fine and rests level. I would have given this table 5 stars except for a problem we had with the original table that was delivered. One of the leg was not drilled and did not have the metal connector to attached it. I swapped out the leg from the new one and donated it to a good home that could fix it and salvage for use.
