Took about 2 1/2 hours for me to assemble by myself. Has about 40 steps while there are a lot of pieces it does look nice. I ended up going with the black and walnut colors, but the one thing I couldn’t get right were the drawers. Couldn’t get the reveals even after making multiple adjustments. It looks nice, though it is a pressboard, but I will say the back panels are thicker which is nice (and not those folding sheets that usually are on back of most other pressboard shelves). It definitely needs the brackets though to hold to the wall as it does seem real top heavy without them.
