This was initially going to be a 1 star review because when the bookcase arrived, every shelf and the bottom of the bookcase was damaged. I changed it to 4 stars because of how great the product support has been. I submitted the issue to wayfair and they put me in touch with the manufacturer, who offered to send a replacement if I sent the damaged one back. I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of returning such a large item so I asked for a partial refund and they offered 25 back, which I felt like was fair. They also responded every time in a timely manner. So while the product did arrive damaged, customer service was excellent and this experience won’t deter me from ordering from wayfair again.. This is a very sturdy, solid bookcase and fits perfectly in the small entryway to our coastal bedroom. I rated it a 4 because one of the cane panels wasn't stretched tight enough compared to the others so there was a slight bulge. Otherwise, it would have been a 5. The cane is a nice touch to complement the wood. Wayfair Customer Service has been great in resolving the issue. I also used the assembly service from Angi. Our technician did a great job, was professional and personable, was careful with all the pieces, and was on time (actually early).. Karen. Windsor, CT. Fri Jul 03 2026

The traditional style is beautiful and timeless, lending the perfect touch to any room. Sturdy and durable, this piece is built to last the quality and workmanship you’ve come to expect.

I love this bookcase! It's super sturdy, real wood, which is exactly what I wanted. There is one shelf that is fixed, and the rest are adjustable. I used the fixed shelf to hold my biggest and heaviest books and scrapbooks, which works great. My only complaint is that the measurement in the product photos shows the bookcase is 13" deep, but that measurement is only for the very top of the bookcase which sticks out about an inch more than the shelves. The shelves are actually only 11 7/8" deep. Other than that, it's an excellent bookcase! I also used the Wayfair assembly service, which worked great.. Barbara. TX. Thu Nov 05 2026

Perfect for what I needed. I wanted something I can pack up when I move in a year and I was able to adjustremove shelves to my fit, even though not sure I was suppose to. 1st one is for bedroom, I didn’t mount it since I am renting but placed non slip stoppers underneath with places on top and leaned it! Made sure it’s steady and weight bearing. For the other one I flipped it upside and use the handles as feet with the same anti slip and prevention above but also used the bottom shelf that has the safety anti-tip safety which secured it!
