I like the light colored wood. Figuring out the pattern was a bit tricky. Things went well until the last couple of squares. The pattern was off and the tabs had a straight edge rather than rounded so they did not go together as nicely as the other packages. I need to order a few more packages and I am hoping the ones that are not a perfect fit can be hidden under a chair or couch. These tiles protect the bottom of the pool and provide a soft surface while inside the pool. These tiles fit together well and we have had no issues so far. The Shark Tooth heavy duty mat is great if you only need one large piece. The edges are cut roughly but they can still be laid side by side.
