If youre on the fence about buying this, just do it!! You will not regret it! MUCH better in person - pics dont do it justice. I was a little hesitant about buying this too, but wow!! It is absolutely spectacular and I dont regret it. Very well made and has a good weight. The iridescence combined with the brass (which is adhered very strongly), is beautiful. Its got a bluegreypurple like iridescent colour and is see through - like dark window tint. I wouldnt suggest using it for soap. I think that would become frustrating.
