I bought 2 for guests/additional seating, then spent a few nights sleeping on them myself - they are surprisingly comfy! Firm, but not hard if that makes sense. This ottoman is super handy and fairly comfortable. Years ago, I ordered a similar one (but narrower) from a competitor and it has held up so I figured the larger one would be better.
