The texture feels great on bare feet, smooth but not slippery. The delivery was a week late, Wayfair wasn't too helpful. The customer service rep told me to "Stay positive, maybe I'll get lucky" when I told him my construction project had been delayed due to the late delivery. We are using these in a shower. Four tiles complete the flower so figuring how much tile you need might be a little tricky. The colors are accurate. I was worried about buying tile online because of breakage during shipping. Not so with this tile. They shipped one box of tile to a large box packed in multiple layers of bubble wrap.
