Our edge banding is permanently thermally fused to the edges, so it will last as long as the product does, unlike the t-molding style of edge banding that is used by many other furniture manufacturers. When the t-molding style of banding is separated, the underlying board is susceptible to moisture, and germs and can be damaged.

Exactly as described, easy to put together (my kids did it together). Very solid. Very heavy (20kg or 45lb), which makes it hard to move on our carpet. Comes with caster wheels and sliders in case you don't want the casters. The height range given (29"-42") is with casters; it's lower by about 2.5" if you don't install the casters. My district purchased these desks for my high school class, and I've had them for over one full year. I have them in groups of 3 or 4 each day. Students love the surface - mine use dry erase markers on them daily and it wipes clean right away without leaving behind any residue. Maybe once a month I spray it with dry erase board cleaner and a quick wipe leaves it looking like new. It is roomy enough for a student text or laptop, but does not take up a lot of space. I also requested casters on the bottom, and it is now very easy to move. Most are without the wire box, but the ones that do have a wire box are roomy enough for a student to place a few books.. This is an extremely sturdy table. I was looking for something deep with adjustable legs to put next to my table desk. This works great. Do note that it is a dog bone shape, so it will not be flush with a wall. I guess they were designed to placed together for a school. It is attractive and very sturdy, so it is worth the price.. This step is not included in the assembly instructions and I didn’t realize the plug was there until I had assembled the first desk and saw that the lift didn’t work. I, at first, thought the lift was defective but realized the issue when assembling the second desk. I had to partially take apart the first one to cut the plug out. This is an incredibly well made, sturdy desk that is also a space saver.
