Make sure to cut this off before assembling. This step is not included in the assembly instructions and I didn’t realize the plug was there until I had assembled the first desk and saw that the lift didn’t work. I, at first, thought the lift was defective but realized the issue when assembling the second desk. I had to partially take apart the first one to cut the plug out. The manufacturer sent extra supplies depending on which legs you ordered, which was confusing at first; as the directions are very limited. After studying the directions for an exorbitant amount of time, we finally figured out what we were doing, and the desk came together. Not what I envisioned as a home desk, but I'm very pleased with this purchase. Well made, simple, solid construction. Squeezing the handle to lift it up and down is easy and quiet, and I'll never worry about electronics breaking. The color is very unobstrusive and blends in with my neutral walls. Exactly as described, easy to put together (my kids did it together). Very solid. Very heavy (20kg or 45lb), which makes it hard to move on our carpet. Comes with caster wheels and sliders in case you don't want the casters. The height range given (29"-42") is with casters; it's lower by about 2.5" if you don't install the casters.
