To maintain social distancing guidelines, schools must find a balance between education effectiveness and student safety. Luxor’s bottom of Luxor's height-adjustable trapezoid classroom desk makes it easy for students to work individually or in pods of up to eight desks. And thanks to its space-saving design, it also makes an excellent student desk for remote learning.

Love them. So flexible but sturdy.. Gina. Jersey City, NJ. Thu Oct 06 2022

Create an environment of health and active learning with Luxor’s adjustable height standing student desk. Research increasingly proves the benefits of standing desks as the 21st-century classroom revolutionizes itself for student wellness and individual learning stations. Luxor is proud to provide innovative sit/stand desks that cater to student’s height with tabletops adjusting from 29″ to 42″ high with a crank handle. The desk has an allotted space for pencils and a water bottle, and four casters aid student collaboration and classroom flexibility. Equip your students with the tools for educational success.

Exactly as described, easy to put together (my kids did it together). Very solid. Very heavy (20kg or 45lb), which makes it hard to move on our carpet. Comes with caster wheels and sliders in case you don't want the casters. The height range given (29"-42") is with casters; it's lower by about 2.5" if you don't install the casters. Crank action is very smooth and I like that the crank can be removed so kids can't play with it. Great addition to a family room that is acting as a home office and a classroom during Covid.. Joanna. MooreCo now offers more desks with a porcelain steel top, providing a durable surface with superior writability and erasability in any space. The porcelain steel whiteboard provides space for doodling, jotting down notes and ideas, and brainstorming. Surface accepts magnets for even more versatility. Porcelain reduces ambient reflection and glares over standard HPL markerboard, providing a more comfortable to-use writing surface. Porcelain also has superior erasability and comes with a lifetime guarantee. Tests show our 24-gauge porcelain is more than twice as hard, and twice as scratch-resistant as laminate, reducing dents, dings, and other damage. The surface is also 5.5 times more wear-resistant than laminate.

Make sure to check the description for assembly instructions, as they do not come printed with the product. Also, there is a plastic plug (see photo) that is zip tied to the top of the lift. Make sure to cut this off before assembling. This step is not included in the assembly instructions and I didn’t realize the plug was there until I had assembled the first desk and saw that the lift didn’t work. I, at first, thought the lift was defective but realized the issue when assembling the second desk. I had to partially take apart the first one to cut the plug out. I understand the reason for the plug, but it would have been helpful to include taking that off in the assembly instructions, as the plug piece isn’t obvious.. Ann. Marietta, OH. Mon Jul 27 2020
