This metal bird feeding cage combines thoughtful design with rugged durability, creating a peaceful haven where finches, tits, and sparrows can feast without fear. The carefully engineered metal grid keeps squirrels, cats, and bully birds at bay, while the natural wood trapeze stick and sturdy perch invite little climbers to feed just as they would in the wild. Whether you fill the easy‑twist jar with peanut butter, refilling and cleaning are a breeze. Built to withstand sun, rain, and wind—and crafted from 100% recyclable materials—this feeder looks beautiful season after season. Install it almost anywhere in minutes: tie it, hang it, or mount it with the included hardware. No drills, no hassle—just more happy birds at your window.
This is a really cute and unique bird feeder, and I’m excited to see how the birds take to it. We put peanut butter in the jar at the top and hung it outside, although we haven’t had a chance yet to see birds actually using it.
The main reason I’m taking off one star is the assembly. The small plastic clips that connect the upper and lower sections of the metal cage were extremely difficult to get into place. They honestly seemed a little too small for the metal pieces they needed to snap around. My husband had already tried putting it together on his own and wasn’t able to get them attached, and when we worked on it together later, it still took us probably 20 minutes of pushing, adjusting, and fiddling with the clips before we finally got everything secured. It was definitely more frustrating than it should have been.
Once assembled, though, I really like the design. The metal cage feels sturdy, the peanut butter holder is a fun idea, and I like that the cage is intended to allow smaller birds access while discouraging squirrels and larger birds. Now that we finally have it together and hanging, we’re looking forward to seeing how well it works.. Pamela. West Allis, WI. Sat Aug 22 2026
