I want to love this so so much! It was easy to install and other than being tedious work to hang the crystals they were easy. It looks absolutely gorgeous, however as you can see, I did not expect that the room would be so dark above the light, I also did not realize the rest of the room would have the broken light pattern on it. I have never owned a chandelier so I was unaware of these effects. For those reasons I dropped a star off. But the fan is so awesome on this light and the light it gives to the floor is excellent as well. I also do not like that the remote for this light is black. I believe it completely throws off the aesthetics of the room. I will be hiding the remote behind something because no way do I want a black remote on the wall. I wish it was white (. Laura. Very pretty fan! Bought this for our new walk-in pantry where we will be storing a freezer too. This fan is perfect for dressing up the space while still keeping the air moving and cool from the heat generated from the freezer. It was packaged well, even came with white gloves so the crystals don’t get smudged during install. We are still in the process of remodeling and haven’t been able to put it up yet, but I can tell it’s well made. I do recommend that if you’re not familiar with electrical work to get a handyman to help with the install as the directions are a little sparse. Also, it takes E14 bulbs, not the most common size.
