This headboard is very nice and looks expensive. It makes the room look great. The fabric is nice and soft. The color is great and as described. The only issue is the way to mount it was not easy and we ended up just having to press it up against the wall and use dry wall screws. It would not fit into our king size tempurperic bed frame. We have not had issues before with previous headboards so this was annoying. It ended up working out the way we did it but still frustrating. I do appreciate that it’s wood though and not metal. I’d been eyeing this headboard for awhile but it seemed to sell out quickly. So after shopping at local furniture stores & seeing those $$$ prices, I nabbed this one as soon as I was notified it was back in stock! I was a bit nervous about what it would look like/quality for the price but I was happily satisfied with it. The only reason I gave it 4 vs 5 stars is that the small separations between the boards aren’t stained like the rest of the headboard is, so it’s noticeable ( but I have a discerning eye) at first and figured I’d have to get a brown paint marker to cover it, but actually it’s not noticeable from a distance and I haven’t seen anything while in the bed- so maybe it’s just the angle and I’m leaving it as is. Otherwise overall I’m very happy with it, it makes a statement in the room and gives my room a solid grounded base that I was wanting.
