Tasmanian Oak Buffet Table

Inspired by Hans Wegner’s classic 1957 design, our chair is a study in organic fluidity and light. Sculpted with clean lines, it embodies the natural warmth, elegance, and ergonomic focus of midcentury modernism. Crafted of solid North American Oak, the chair reveals the wood’s pronounced open grain and deep, organic texture. The iconic curved backrest floats atop tapered legs, while the streamlined, planar seat anchors the silhouette with geometric simplicity.

This was easy to put together, the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The reason I went with 4 stars versus 5 is that it was missing one of the spring washers, but still was able to make it work without it. The chair seems sturdy after assembled.. Sarah. Marion, OH. Sat Jun 06 2026
