[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical at first when the rug arrived, rolled up in clear plastic at my door however, the moment I opened the plastic, I could feel the quality of weaving! It feels incredibly soft to the touch and is the perfect size; sizing is quite accurate from the description! I’m ready to purchase a matching runner! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love love this rug! The pattern is so beautiful and the material is so soft. I love how the color of the rug gives it a refined and effortlessly elegant feel. The rug itself is surprisingly light, so it's easy to carry around and set up. It unrolled well and didn't have an issue of curling awkwardly. It fits so well into our room and makes it look more elegant 😁 there was a slight initial odor from the rug, but after airing it out for a day it disappeared. I will note that there is no grippy side underneath, so you will have to buy a separate grippy material to make sure it doesn't slide around. Before I put a grippy layer underneath it, the rug did slide around a dangerous amount, but that's the only downside.. Denises. Fri Oct 16 2026

Story Behind the Art: Chobi rugs have a rich cultural heritage deeply rooted in Perzian, Turkman, and Afghan traditions. These rugs are expertly woven in the Peshawar region of Pakistan, capturing the essence of the rugged terrain in which they originate. Interestingly, the term "Chobi" signifies the colors of wood, emphasizing the prevalence of brownish and earthy tones in most Chobi rugs. These exquisite rugs are carefully crafted using vegetable dyes and the finest hand-spun lanolin-rich wool. It is the use of these natural dyes that imparts Chobi Peshawar rugs with their distinctive abrash quality, characterized by subtly shifting shades of color across the pile, imparting them with their unique and distinct character.
