Neutral Cabinet

This is a solid cabinet! It was easy to put together. Just took me a couple of hours. You do need another person to hold the doors when attaching them, but otherwise one person can put the rest together. I got this to use as a sound barrier (side by side duplex, with a door between the lower floors for some reason) and for some reason extra bathroom and jacket storage. I'm using it as a small office/desk. I had assemblers/handymen put it together and it took about 1.5 hours for 2 guys - that cost $220. I did not use the hanger/clothes pole. I got 2 black laminate shelves from Menards that are 12" deep to use as additional storage (see photo - top 2 shelves are NOT included in the purchase - I added these such that I can store more office supplies). I also had a hole put through the back of the unit for my printer cord which will sit on the top of the drawer. My laptop will go on center shelf. Cost of chest is very effective and materials are not the greatest but it does not look cheap when completed. I wouldn't store this anywhere with high humidity. Slightly disappointed in the size as far as the inside. The rail is low and isn’t the greatest for adult hangers as far as width. I purchased two for my entryway to hide all of our shoes and jackets. They’re really nice looking and good quality. They’re a little too big for the space for both so we’re moving one of the wardrobes into a bedroom and getting a matching shoe rack that will fit the space better. Parts were labeled wrong or not at all, but assembly went okay. I think the drawer seems to work okay. Overall I would say it might work okay, but personally.
