Took me about five hours to put this whole set together, not bad for a 70 year old woman. I made a mistake on the first chair, had to disassemble and redo. My fault even though the instructions were a little sketchy. The chairs were a little time consuming, the bench and table were a breeze. Included in this time was cleanup, cutting up the cardboard and using the plastic coverings as trash bags for the styrofoam and small pieces. This is a beautiful dining set ,perfect for a kitchen or small dining room. It was shipped in 4 boxes and the directions were easy to follow but the chairs were very difficult to assemble. The angles used to hide the hardware made for difficult assemble and the first chair took quite a while to put together with the Allen Wrench until we just used a drill to complete the chair assembly..
