This table is very sturdy and I love the look. Three of the chairs had a few minor defects but are very sturdy and good quality. The table leaf has defects where the hinges are. The wood is messed up where the hinges fold which is very upsetting but doesn’t show when used without the leaf. Which is where I plan on using the table for the majority of the time, when I need to use the full table I will use a tablecloth to cover the defect. They did not have any replacements for me. We bought this 9 piece dining set for our new house. I like that it is small with 4 chairs when not expanded and can seat 8 when we have guests. It’s easy to expand and we like that the leaf is part of the table and we don’t need to find space to store it. It’s quite heavy and sturdy. I love the finish to look at but it does scratch easily. We use our bar stools for about every meal, so it doesn’t get a lot of use. However Wayfair forgot half of the chairs and then sent me boxes of chairs to assemble even though I paid for white glove delivery in the original order.
