This hamster cage is the best one I’ve ever owned! It only took about 20 minutes to put it all together. Update I had the hinges wrong for the lid, now it shuts. I only put the fluffy slam guard on the long edge because if they are on the short ledges it doesn’t close properly. This is beautiful! It's a decent cage but came with some screws that were not really ideal for putting it together. Also instructions were a little vague but not too hard to figure out and takes longer than 45 minutes to put together even with 2 people even using a power drill. Also power drill is a must since they only made holes on one side of it to put together. Also, there could of been better attachment pieces for the top and bottom without having to add locks on it. The quality of this hamster cage is great however, my biggest concern is since the wood is not protected by anything it will absorb the urine smell and stain of the hamster in spite of the bedding.
