Exactly what we were looking for in this space. It took about 4 hours from box cutting to finish, directions were easy to follow, only had to backtrack once or twice to make sense of something that could have gone 2 ways (the rails). It folds out easily for one person, there is a drawer for pillows/blankets/sheets, and we got a 6" tri-fold memory foam mattress the folds right into the cabinet spot. Huge space save for our guest room. Angie. North Idaho. Mon Sep 28 2026

The cabinet was very straightforward, every screw and pilot hole were perfectly aligned. The only issue is the latch system is not a safe design. We will be purchasing a latch to keep the heavy front from falling as it is not a secure latch. The side is not sturdy enough from bowing out allowing the pin to not sit securely. Otherwise a quality heavy cabinet.. Tammy. Scarborough , ME. Sat Sep 26 2026

Assembly took ~6 person hours with a couple of mistakes that required taking some pieces apart and reassembling. Multiple pieces were not labeled with numbers and the instructions were somewhat difficult to follow. This piece is very sturdy but note that it weighs ~240 lbs in total. Converting it from a cabinet to a bed is definitely a 2 person operation as the top is quite heavy. A 6" trifold mattress just barely fits - it makes it hard to use the latch and puts pressure on the front panel such that it slightly bends outwards. The color (red) was darker in person than pictured. Overall it does seem like a solid piece of furniture and it does look nice.. Maggie. San Francisco, CA. Tue Apr 28 2026
