Love this bed-frame, and the dark walnut colour is perfect! I do wish it was made of real wood (the legs are and they’re such great quality) but it’s sturdy and affordable! So I’m really happy overall, the mattress we used was about 8-9 inches high and is the sweet spot for low profile look. Makes the head board look bigger and adds to the aesthetic!. Ryan. The frame seems pretty lightweight, but the person putting it together said it's sturdy. I ordered this for a guest bedroom, so it won't be getting daily use. I like the roominess under the bed allowed by the height of the bed frame, which makes it good for storage if you're inclined. The 14" tall frame gives about 12" of space under it. The slats have around 7" between them. I had a hard time finding this information when I was looking at the description.. Judy. Whiteland, IN. Mon Jun 29 2026

Not heavy duty at all, didn’t even last 7 months. The center support wasn’t even welded all the way around. The center support snapped when my wife went to lay down. She fell and smacked her ankle on the frame on the way down. Without the center support, it’s a straight shot to the floor. The support ribs won’t do anything without it. Thankfully the mattress was much sturdier. Stay away from this product.. Anonymous. Fri Sep 11 2026

I bought this looking for the tallest bed frame I could possibly find. My bedroom has ocean views but also a balcony so I wanted to be able to lay in bed and see over the railing. This frame is TALL. There is so much room under for storage or a place for your pets to sleep. Assembly was easy and straightforward, we had 2 people but one person could assemble. We were missing some parts unfortunately but messaging Wayfair was easy and they shipped the missing parts. Bed frame is sturdy, quality, and doesn't have any squeak or creak noises. A great buy!. All things considered, beds make for the best friends: They don’t cancel plans, they don’t require dressing up, they encourage us to stay in, they don’t talk, and most importantly, they make your bedroom worthy of showing off to guests. Take this bed, for example, a simple platform design, with a clean-lined headboard, is perfect for a modern aesthetic. It is upholstered with fabric, in a gray color, and filled with foam. Thanks to the wooden slats.

With 3500 LBS weight capacity and no box spring needed, it's a cost-effective and durable choice for bedrooms, guest rooms, and vacation rentals.

Me and my husband put the bed together and we got it done in about an hour. Once together we realized that we needed a little more support for our foam mattress because the metal slats were not wide and had to much space between them to give good support. We just put the cardboard the frame came in on top of the frame and it worked great. The frame is very sturdy and i needed that support being over 200 lbs. It has plenty of space underneath for storage. It’s a great buy for the price.. Carolyn. US. Fri Aug 28 2026

Bedroom with this black metal bed, the 40-inch tall headboard features an elegant arched design with sleek straight spindles, adding classic sophistication. Strong metal legs ensure lasting stability, while the 12.5-inch under-bed space offers plenty of storage. Our exquisite bed is the perfect choice for your bedroom.

Very disappointing, the bed I received does NOT have the same detail as the photos on the website. The vertical rungs on the head and footboard are smooth round pipe not the more sculpted detailed ones on the website. I might have picked another bed with more detail had I known. With that said Wayfair has excellent customer service and communication, my grievance was resolved in 48 hrs and I was offered a 25 discount. The bed is very solid with no noise at all.. Marianna. Mid-century style made simple. This mod platform bed has a simple silhouette, thanks to a natural finish and tapered corner legs. Crafted from solid wood, it shows off noticeable graining for a rustic touch. Take note: There is no headboard with this piece, so accentuate that spot with a mound of plush pillows or hang your favorite work of art overhead. A slat kit eliminates the need for a box spring, so all that's left to get is a mattress of your choice (sold separately).

Solid construction - fairly easy to assemble. Kathy. Flower Mound, TX. Mon Nov 03 2025

This canopy bed infuses your main or guest bedroom with a sophisticated, classic style. The open frame is crafted from metal tubing and stands 72” high. We love that there is more than 12” of under-bed clearance, which is enough room for a couple of storage bins filled with seasonal apparel or extra bedding. This metal bed has sturdy slats that provide a solid foundation for your mattress. The system of slats eliminates the need for a box spring – simply top it with the standard mattress of your choice (sold separately). Besides, assembly is required, but from what we hear, it’s pretty straightforward.

The bed seems to be pretty decent, especially for the price. The shipping on the other hand, not so much. It was delivered with the box completely torn to where FedEx rang my bell and handed me pieces that had fallen out. I’m not sure if that is the fault of Wayfair or FedEx, but always check your merchandise because that was unacceptable. Luckily, everything was there.. Anonymous. Sun Sep 27 2026
