The frame seems pretty lightweight, but the person putting it together said it's sturdy. I ordered this for a guest bedroom, so it won't be getting daily use. I like the roominess under the bed allowed by the height of the bed frame, which makes it good for storage if you're inclined. The 14" tall frame gives about 12" of space under it. This item is working exactly as expected. The mattress is sitting on it. Feels sturdy. Rounded corners big plus. It took considerably longer to assemble than expected. One side rail had two bolt that screw into it and something was off with them. Took several tries and several people several attempts to get the bolts threaded. It had to be disassembled but we were able to get them in sort of kind of. And then got longer bolts to attach the headboard. But once all of that was done the product itself is just fine.. Christy. I'm very happy with the metal bed frame. Comfortable and sturdy. I have limited storage, so appreciate that I can store things underneath the frame (air conditioner during winter, winter clothes during summer, etc.). I attached the frame to a metal headboard, and it looks like the two go together. The only draw back is that over time the mattress shifts one or two inches on the frame; however it is very easy to shift the mattress back so it aligns with the headboard.. Edisa. NY. We purchased this in two sizes. They have performed different, so I am going to review each independent from each other. This purchase was for a king bed. It went together relatively easily, and I did it by myself. It probabaly took less than two hours. The metal is sturdy, the pieces went together well (some of the screws are tight and I needed a few breaks between - but that’s a good thing!). It has been used for over two years now and has held up great! No scratches, little to no squeaking, no slats falling outloosening, etc. I am happy with the quality and price point.
