Cute end result, but prepare for a challenging assembly!This loft bed is absolutely adorable once finished, but getting there was quite a project. It took us two days to complete. During assembly, we ran into a few quality control issues: some necessary bolt holes were completely missing, and several of the pre-drilled holes were misaligned.A quick safety tip: It is a bit wobbly on its own. Poor instructions, missing pre-drilled holes, warped boards, a cracked board. Very frustrating to assemble. I’d look elsewhere. Update - after a little difficulty ordering replacement parts, they sent me the entire bed. I needed 1 board, 1 bolt, and 1 bolt receiver. Now I have 79 lbs of the rest of the bed to dispose of. After reading some reviews on putting this bed together, I was concerned. However, it only took two people 2 1/2 hours to put this bed together. It is very sturdy and the grandkids love sleeping up top as well as the space below to work and play. We bought two of these for a small space and they will work out well! One box had a chipped piece (I think the metal piece in the box must have hit it during the shipping process), but both Wayfair and the manufacturer have responded quickly to replace it. Update: This took 5 inexperienced people weeks to put together because it has so many parts. My daughter and her friend accidentally dropped the stair part over when assembling it and the screws ripped right through the top. Wayfair was kind and sent us new parts to replace them quickly. I got stickers to cover the screws because I don't like the big visible screw look. My daughter loves the ample storage and the food use of space in her room. Looks nice, but the entire bed is mdf and not super stable. It shakes just with the first step on the ladder. It has a 600lb. weight limit, but when my 115lb child got on it shook with the slightest movement. The opening into the bed is only about 12in. wide. The strip light was cool, but those don't stick very well. The area underneath is spacious. If we hadn't already put it together, we would've returned it. Got this loft bed for my 8 year old daughter. Its perfect for her needs. The desk is a little small (ie short) but it still works. I wanted it more as a study desk. We live in an apartment so the bed firs perfectly. Its low and doesnt take up that much space. Theres also lots of room underneath the bed to crawl around and hide. When you receive the boxes containing the bed parts, don’t worry! It might seem overwhelming to receive three separate boxes, making you reconsider your bed choice. However, open them all up and organize them first it’ll make life much easier. My only criticism is that I wish every part was labeled, as it could make some parts questionable about their placement.
