I bought this not as a tent for a dog, but, as a cover to prevent damage to my portable generator, when using during bad weather. I haven't actually used it during a weather incident, as of yet. I did set it up and ran the generator inside of it, to make sure the generator's CO detector didn't trigger and shut it down. I love this dog house! It’s a solid piece of furniture. Easy to put together (1 person), all holes lined up perfectly. Door action is easy and I like that there’s a lock to keep the door open and a slide-in latch to keep it closed.
