It is a beautiful rug, to be sure. But the fact that it’s made of chenille makes it impractical. I used it under my coffee table in front of my couch, and with so many feet landing there it’s gotten dirty. It’s very difficult to clean. I eventually took a risk and put it into my front load washing machine even though the cleaning instructions only allow for spot cleaning. The rug came out clean, but this caused some damage to it.
