Hopper Bird Feeder will attract a wide array of birds to your yard, with a locking top and spring-activated perch that work together to keep squirrels away. This rugged, all-metal squirrel-proof feeder has a counterbalance perch adjustable to three positions to allow light, medium, or heavy birds on the perch. Durable, chew-resistant, green powder-coated steel body with a zinc-plated steel hanger and black powder-coated pole. Simply unlatch the squirrel-resistant roof and lift for easy filling and cleaning, while the seed level indicator window shows when the feeder is empty. The top locks down securely preventing squirrel access and when a squirrel steps onto the perch, a metal shield immediately covers the seed tray, shutting off the seed supply.

Does its job , but squirrels eat from it also! They have figured it out!. Angie. Montgomery, TX. Wed Jul 15 2026

Durable, chew-resistant green powder-coated steel body with a zinc-plated hanger. The overhanging roof and hopper keep the seed dry and protected from the elements. Top locks securely prevent squirrel access while the weight-activated perch prevents access to seed ports. Does not open or close easily but otherwise nice. Johanna. New York, NY. Mon Sep 28 2026

This traditional log cabin hopper style feeder is made from reclaimed natural cedar and can hold over 10 lbs. of bird seed. The Bird in Hand Valley Forge Hopper Bird Feeder gets its name from the encampment of George Washington's continental army during the winter. A section from the back wall can be removed to enable the piece to clean and maintain the piece. There is a collar on the base to attach to a post.

Love this- was a gift for my husband as a log cabin bird feeder we had succumbed to a bear. This feeder is a work of art! It is amazing, so beautiful we actually have it inside yet in our timber frame home and will decorate it with lights for the holidays… then build a telescoping post for it. It is definitely a part of our landscaping plans for the spring. Well built and beautiful!. Loretta. Thu Nov 18 2021

Built to Last in Any Season: Constructed with a full metal body and a thick, powder-coated finish, this feeder is engineered for superior weather resistance. It stands strong against rain, snow, and harsh sun without rusting, ensuring years of reliable use in your garden.

VERY pleased with this feeder. It's the third one I've tried over the last few years - first one I've bought from Wayfair. I really like the color and the design allows so many more birds to feed at a time without having "bird fights". Best of all, it has finally defeated the squirrel that has been eating all the seed ... the cage design makes it easy for the birds and almost impossible for the squirrel. It's become a neighborhood attraction. Love it.. Elin. Los Angeles, CA. Mon Aug 03 2026

Constructed of up to 90% post-consumer recycled plastic with a polycarbonate window; this feeder weathers the elements without chipping and fading and is assembled with rust-resistant zinc chromate screws - not nails. Ranch-style feeding trough allows multiple birds to feed at one time.

It’s a great feeder. A good size and I love the materials it is made of. My old feeder was wooden and falling apart. Definitely would recommend it .. Anonymous. Westchester, IL. Thu Jan 22 2026

Advanced Squirrel-Proof Design: Our weight-sensitive automatic closing system effectively deters squirrels. When a squirrel lands on the feeder, the feeding ports securely close, protecting your bird seed while allowing birds to feed freely.

Love this beautiful bird feeder. Durable and hold a nice amount of seed.. Linda. Marietta Ga. Mon Apr 06 2026

Premier Hopper Bird Feeder is one of the professional series feeders that set the standard! Attract more birds with the offering of suet plus the two-sided seed tray provides ample perching area while green powder-coated screen base allows for proper drainage and seed aeration of your birdseed. Constructed of up to 90% post-consumer recycled plastic, it is one of the best-made feeders anywhere. Windows make it easy to see how much seed is left and the hinged roof opens for quick filling.

Basic construction solid. Screened bottom a good idea. Whole feeder heavier than it needs to be. Ribbing instead of a solid roof would help. Don't know if, when full, it may bend our shepherd's crook pole. Door to suet holder too difficult to open, especially with gloves on and holding the feeder steady with the other in winter. I added a split ring handle to make the suet holder easier to open.. Robert. Troy, NY. Thu Apr 03 2025

Hopper Bird Feeder is easy to fill top locks securely and combined with an adjustable weight spring-operated perch restricts access to squirrels and larger birds. Durable, chew-resistant powder coated steel body with a zinc-plated hanger. Simply unlatch and lift the squirrel resistant lid for easy filling and cleaning, seed level indicator window shows when the feeder is empty. The overhanging roof and hopper keeps the seed dry and protected from the elements. Top locks securely preventing squirrel access while the weight activated perch prevents access to seed ports.

I was concerned about whether the birds would accept this based on the reviews but there are dozen of the flitting around it as I write this. I did deduct a star because the metal is a much thinner gauge than my previous brand name one (which needed replacing because a bear destroyed it- never had bears here before). The old one had already survived having a small tree fall on it. This one would not withstand that. The lid already had a dent when it arrived and I could easily bend the metal with my bare hands. The finish is a sprayed on paint, not a more durable powder coated finish so it will likely rust pretty quickly. I didnt want the hassle of a return so I kept it. It does the job and if it lasts a couple of seasons itll be worth it.. Susan. Deep River, CT. Sun Nov 08 2020

House a host of purple Martin families with the S&K Purple Martin House. Sturdy plastic pieces snap together with plastic screws to form this two-story green, tan, and white house. This dwelling features slip-resistant floors, convenient landing, and take-off rails on each floor, and swing-up doors for easy cleaning. Each of the twelve rooms measures a comfortable 6" x 6" x 6" for the nesting Martin families, but if you'd like larger compartments and fewer families, you can easily adjust the inner compartments to 6" x 6" x 12" in order to create six nesting sites. Ventilated door panels provide maximum comfort, and the crescent-shaped starling-resistant entrances deter pest birds looking to usurp your rightful Martin tenants. For even more versatility, plug the crescent holes and punch out the round entry hole on each apartment. Overhangs, gutters, and rails also help protect martins and their eggs. Mount this home high on the S&K Telescoping Aluminum Pole or use the S&K Pole Adapter to mount it on an existing 1.25" diameter round pole (not included). The S&K Purple Martin House is a practical option for current Martin landlords or bird lovers new to the hobby. Assembly required. Made in the USA.
