The coffee table looks great in our living room. Just the right size, color and quality. However it does have some dents, scratches on one side. Amazing! I love this table and it was so easy to assemble. The top is a little rough so if you have littles, it might be worth a sand or top coat. The only “concern” I had was that the bottom piece looks to be made out of plywood and a thin piece of wood. Otherwise it looks amazing! It looks as pictured. When the drawer is facing the sofa, the back of the drawer cannot be seen, so it looks really sleek and clean from the other side. My only disappointment is that the top is finished in a matte acrylic. I'm sure it was done to help protect it from spills and such, but real wood (solid, no veneers) like this should have some shine to the surface. Up close, matte on real wood makes it look and feel (!) like Formica. It's still a really good deal for the money and we're happy with it. Oh, and oddly, the drawer itself is made from solid wood and has smooth-acting metal slides, which was a nice surprise. The originator knows how to box! This table is heavy. I feel like it’s a solid one piece trunk covered with petrified wood. It’s much more classy than other similar pieces ( we brought this after we saw a similar table at Arhaus for nearly double the price), where they have fake wood at the bottom ( presumably for helping with the weight). We were glad we got white glove as I don’t think I can move this table on our own. Despite the weight, we are happy with the purchase as the colors are prettier than we thought it would be.
