Beautiful high quality piece of furniture. The TV stand is hard wood (not MDF), very sturdy, and a lovely walnut color (as pictured online). Fits in perfectly with our decor. However, there was a major problem with the right side panel. The drill holes and recesses for the hinges were off by at least an inch. Thanks to my husband’s expert carpentry skills, he was able to create a workable solution. Otherwise, it would have required disassembling and waiting for a replacement side panel. This defect caused much frustration and interior “hacking” of an otherwise beautiful piece of furniture. Not happy with this major oversight on the part of the manufacturer. We got this on sale and it makes me wonder if Wayfair reserves defective furniture like this for their sale items, since most reviewers don’t mention defective pieces.. Carla E. Maryland. The 63" Solid Wood TV Stand arrived very well packaged. This is made from real fir wood, and has a slight pine scent to it. It comes partly built, with the 4 legs assembled already. In total, there were only 6 parts: the 4 legs, the top piece and the bottom shelf. From unboxing to building to moving out the old TV stand to setting everything into place on the new TV stand, took about 45 minutes. Even though this is solid wood, it is not heavy to move around, but is still very sturdy. The color of the wood is nice and goes well with the other pieces of furniture in my living room.. Kimi. Very nice and study tv stand. The tv stand is quite sturdy and heavy so I recommend setting it up where you plan on leaving it. The directions were a little difficult to understand but the quality of the actual entertainment center is quite nice. Not as sturdy as I would like. It bows down in the middle needs more support there.
